Plus Future Pinball's physics are really quite bad, even with some of the recent updates (I believe I tried the 2.5 physics update). Początkowo opublikowane przez sethsez:Why don't you just say it looks like it's for the Atari 2600 to make the hyperbole complete?

This is still 2D, but the perspective tracking really adds to the ability to make shots and seems like something that would actually make a cab worth it. the 2D nature of a screen is the biggest drawback of playing on a monitor, and a pinball cab doesn't fix that one bit. I generally feel like pinball cabs are a ton of work for what winds up being very little gain. And the physics of all three depend on the quality of the table recreations, which change depending on which table we're talking about.ĪS FOR THIS VIDEO: That's pretty amazing, and something that would actually make me interested in building a cab.

Future Pinball's the prettiest but by far the worst when it comes to emulating pinball software (since it doesn't), Visual Pinball's great as long as you're happy with how the table creator set up the camera since playfield toys and such are only rendered for a single perspective, and Pinball Arcade has the lowest resolution textures of the three but has full ROM emulation and workable multiple camera angles. They all have some pretty big advantages and disadvantages. And Visual Pinball is a 2D engine with plenty of limitations of its own. Why don't you just say it looks like it's for the Atari 2600 to make the hyperbole complete?Īnd until Future Pinball supports using actual arcade ROMs it whips neither this nor Visual Pinball.
